personal direction / brutalist

Raw technical
notebook.

KJ Lee stays sharp, personal, and visible. This direction is less company polish and more public workbench: index pages, notes, logs, repositories, experiments, and clear proof of work.

Principles.

01

Visible structure

Borders, grids, tables, and hard section breaks are allowed to show. The page should feel assembled, not airbrushed.

02

Monochrome pressure

Black, paper, muted gray, and one hot accent used rarely. Contrast and type carry the identity.

03

Archive energy

Homepage as index, project list, research log, and README. Personal, dense, useful, and direct.

04

Machine ambience

ASCII, cursor, and terminal cues are atmosphere only. Motion should feel like an idle system, not a demo reel.

More personal than corporate. More useful than polished.

Use this direction for KJ Lee profile pages, project indexes, technical notes, public experiments, and anything where the maker should feel present.

Borrow from brutalist websites, Hacker News utility, Gwern-style archive depth, Low←Tech Magazine restraint, and Hundred Rabbits independence — transformed into a modern personal workbench.
